The Falcon signature brownies are the perfect pieces of indulgence; soft, gooey and chocolatey. They really do taste fantastic and are sure to become a firm family favourite.
Ingredients
- 150g dark chocolate
- 150g butter
- 3 eggs
- 225g castor sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 100g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method
- Place the butter and chocolate in a pan; place over over a low heat to allow butter and chocolate to melt, stirring occasionally.
- In a jug, mix together the sugar, the eggs and the vanilla essence and beat until combined.
- When the chocolate and butter have melted take the pan off the heat and allow to the mixture to cool slightly.
- Pour the egg and sugar mixture into the pan and thoroughly mix with butter/chocolate mixture.
- Next add the flour and the salt and mix well to form a smooth paste.
- Pour the brownie mixture into a greased baking tin.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°C (fan oven).
- Remove the tin from the oven and allow to cool.
- If serving with ice cream, leave to cool for 5-10 minutes.
If serving cold, leave to cool until you can handle, remove from tin and place on wire rack to fully cool. - Cut into small squares, serve and enjoy!
